To use this site it is necessary to read and accept these rules in full. Continuing to visit this site implies that you agree to these rules. INDEX S.R.L. may have information about you that you have provided to us (for example, by telephone or by an application or a registration form, etc.). This information may include, but is not limited to, your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, information about how you use our services (for example: your flights).

1. What kind of information do we collect and for what purpose?

In case of phone calls we automatically collect the phone number. To the profile of the phone number we manually add the name provided by you, as well as the address at which the boarding is requested. We do not make any verification regarding the reality of the name provided, but only send it to the driver for the correct identification of the person who placed the order. The driver will use the name provided as the identification key to prevent the wrong boarding of someone else in your place. Phone calls are recorded and stored for a period of 30 days, to resolve any complaints to our operators, as well as to improve the quality of services provided. The route of the car, starting with the moment of its allocation for the accepted order and until the landing, is also stored, for the same purpose, respectively, in order to make possible the quickest and most correct solution of the possible complaints. Race history will also be used in customer loyalty reward campaigns.

In the case of client applications, we collect the phone number or e-mail address in order to open or synchronize the account, and the e-mail address in order to secure the password recovery process. The name entered by the account user is not verified by us in any way. It is the direct responsibility of the user regarding the reality of the data provided.

In the case of the IndexDispatch Driver application, we collect the high-precision GPS location to ensure the correct allocation of taxi orders and to monitor the waiting time in the taxi station. At the same time we use the microphone of the application for Walkie Talkie voice transmissions similar to the radio broadcasting station. The IndexDispatch Sofer application is an application installed only by taxi drivers, who collaborate with the dispatcher only on the basis of a commercial contract concluded based on the documents and legal authorizations held and as such, is practically an internal application within the company, not intended for the general public.

Billing data (such as name and surname, postal address, bank account, etc …) are collected and stored for the legitimate purpose of creating the possibility of preparing tax documents according to law.

2. How can INDEX S.R.L. use this information ?

The data collected will be used in order to achieve the object of activity, for the fulfillment of contractual obligations and other legal obligations.

The telephone number can be used for calling by the operators or drivers involved at the time and for managing the execution of a race or in advance for its confirmation or obtaining additional clarifications necessary for its correct execution. Subsequently, it can be used by our operators and / or partners, only to clarify situations found after the execution of the race or whenever it is necessary to resolve a complaint made from that phone number. Also, the phone number can be used automatically by the system to send by SMS the notifications regarding the presence of the car at the requested boarding place.

The email address will be used as an alternative way to recover the password of the existing account or for answers to any complaints or notifications of yours; Alternatively, if you have expressed your agreement in this regard, in the appropriate section of the site we will use this address for information or marketing communications. The same conditions apply to the postal address if you have communicated it to us.

The invoicing data such as name and surname, postal address, series and number of the identity document, data regarding the bank account etc … will be used only for the elaboration of the fiscal documents necessary according to the law.

The required data is strictly necessary for us if you want to purchase our services, and in their absence we may not be able to provide you with these services.

3. Sharing information about you

The work process implies that your data will be processed for the purposes listed, by our operators, or by our drivers or employees of our partners, as third parties, but only on the basis of a confidentiality commitment from and only for the purposes mentioned. In the latter case, the data are disclosed with limitations or restrictions in time and space, with the obligation to be used only for the purpose of performing the requested service. Your data can be used by us or on our behalf by any third party who has or acquires the capacity of proxy (lawyer, executor, accounting firm, IT developer).

Some or all of your data may be disclosed as a legal obligation and exclusively at the legal request of third party public operators of personal data to public authorities (courts, police, prosecutors, tax authorities, etc.). If your bank card issuer requests it, we may send information or other travel documents to the required address.

4. Transfer of information outside Romania

The data is stored on servers in Romania and is not distributed outside the European Economic Area. INDEX respects the confidential information provided and will not sell or rent or exchange the e-mailing lists or data of its customers.

It is possible that in the future we will distribute your data in case of total or partial sale of the company or in case of merger or association with another entity inside or outside the European Economic Area.

5. You may exercise any of the following rights in connection with the processing of personal data under the conditions specified in the European Data Protection Regulation 679/2016 (GDPR):

  • The right of access to personal data
  • The right to rectification
  • The right to delete data
  • The right to restrict processing
  • The right to opposition
  • The right not to be subject to a decision based solely on the automatic processing of your data
  • The right to file a complaint with us and / or with the competent data protection authority

To exercise these rights, you can address a written request, dated and signed at SC INDEX SRL with headquarters in Ploiesti, str. Armasi, no. 37b. Once such a request is submitted, we will no longer process your personal information, except where processing is required by applicable law and regulations.

The data subjects also benefit from the rights conferred by Law 677/2001 (including the right of access, the right to intervene on the data and the right of opposition).

According to the requirements of Law no. 677/2001 for the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, as amended and supplemented and of Law no. 506/2004 on the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector, SC INDEX SRL (administrator of the sites www.indextaxi.ro, www.944.ro, www.xtt, ro, www.xtaxitransfer.ro , www.0256933.ro,), as a personal data controller registered with the Authority for the Supervision of Personal Data Processing under no. 27515, has the obligation to administer in safe conditions and only for the specified purposes the personal data that you provide us about you, a member of your family or another person.

6. How do we protect your personal data?

Index SRL applies adequate security measures to ensure the security of the customer’s personal data and has implemented specific durations for personal data to be kept as long as necessary to fulfill the stated purpose.

  • Data security

In order to guarantee the security of personal data, Index SRL has implemented a series of security measures that are in line with industry standards. They do not cover personal data that the customer chooses to share online or offline in public spaces.

  • Data retention

Index SRL will keep your personal data for as long as necessary for the stated purpose, taking into account the need to answer questions or solve problems, to provide new or improved services and to comply with applicable legal requirements. Therefore, Index SRL may retain personal data for a reasonable period of time after the customer’s last interaction with Index SRL, in accordance with applicable law.

When the personal data of the customer are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were collected or which has been agreed and there is no legal obligation to keep, Index SRL will destroy or delete them in a safe way.

This Privacy Policy regarding the processing of your personal data is subject to periodic reviews.
